The District is Better with Your Voice and Involvement

At George Mumma HD25 Legal Advocacy, advocacy starts with our communities. Our campaign knows responsive, accessible legal representation starts with listening – to the concerns of those living in Colorado House District 25. By hosting a carefully-curated range of events, town-halls, and open-discussion sessions, we listen to the issues important to our citizens so they may make their voices heard in building the legal landscape of House District 25 in election year and beyond. No matter where you are on the political spectrum – whether a parent advocating for an educational choice that represents freedom of choice to you and your family, a taxpayer interested in good stewardship of public finances, or simply a member of our community interested in legal issues, our campaign is a listening post – a place to engage and be heard!
Monthly Legal Town Halls: Open Discussions Yield Real Results
Each month, George Mumma HD25 Legal Advocacy organizes in-person and virtual Legal Town Halls across Littleton and the District 25 region. These meetings facilitate direct engagement with constituent George B. Mumma Jr., who addresses questions, concerns, and pertinent issues such as government spending, tax relief reform, and education rights. Each Town Hall features guest experts, including local educators, attorneys, and police officers, ensuring that discussions are both informative and actionable. Previous Town Halls have focused on topics such as lowering property tax rates, education rights for parents, and enhancing neighborhood safety. Attendance at a Town Hall is complimentary and open to residents of the district.
Community Legal Forums: Empowering Grassroots Organizing
We present quarterly Community Legal Forums to help forge and deepen our relationship with constituents. Forums address timely legal issues-legislative initiatives, updates on new state policies, and ongoing advocacy work-to give the community specialized knowledge and tools necessary to advocate for their concerns at the state and local levels. Breakout sessions to discuss specific needs in smaller groups, policy recommendation is taken throughout the day from participants, and community members can network and connect with others who share their interests. We frequently partner with local civic organizations and parent associations to ensure a diversity of perspectives are heard. Often our forums have generated ideas on tangible solutions that George Mumma has vowed to bring back to the State House because they emerge directly from District 25’s real needs.
Interactive Online Forums: Stay Connected and Informed
Acknowledging the need for accessibility, we maintain an active digital presence across multiple platforms. We keep residents informed and engaged-wherever they are-through ongoing Facebook Live Q&A, YouTube legal briefings, and a dedicated Nextdoor community. Constituents can ask questions in advance, join live polls, and opt-in to direct feedback on proposed changes to local law. We also provide a robust email newsletter which provides timely information on advocacy efforts, upcoming events, and volunteer opportunities. These digital channels bring greater transparency, responsiveness, and inclusivity to our legal advocacy.
Signature Events: Promoting Unity and Education
George Mumma HD25 Legal Advocacy holds signature events throughout the year. These events are valuable opportunities to bring people together for strengthening community ties while furthering our common legal interests. The Legal Advocacy Picnic is held each summer, with family-oriented activities, information booths on legal issues, and an open information and feedback forum for George Mumma. We also host Legal Education Nights in collaboration with neighborhood schools as a way to share information with parents and students about legal rights and current legislative proposals. The campaign regularly participates in neighborhood festivals and civic fairs so that we become a recognizable presence within the district. These events are not only important for developing relationships within the district-they also help establish a sense of unity and mutual responsibility between residents.
Inclusive Dialogue on Legal Reform and Education
An important element of our campaign is a focus on open and fair dialogue over future legal policy in Colorado. We engage in themed panel discussions, focus groups and listening sessions to encourage citizens to discuss their thoughts and experiences on school choice, tax burdens, government oversight, or any other issues important in their lives. As an Eagle Scout, police chief and community builder, George Mumma leads these discussion sessions with integrity and practical solutions. Our approach to this campaign ensures that no matter your political background or experience with the law, you will find a place to be heard.
Volunteering and Grassroots Organizing
Nothing is more important to a grassroots campaign than dynamic, energetic volunteers. Through our campaign, we welcome residents and constituents who have a desire to make a difference in the community and those who simply have time to volunteer. Volunteers participate in activities such as events, moderating forums, assisting with outreach activities and other grassroots efforts. Volunteers receive training on effective legal and professional advocacy, event hosting and constituent communications. Many of our best ideas and successful programs have come from our team of volunteers and their diverse skill sets and new ideas. If you wish to be a part of the grass roots effort or would like to participate in shaping the legal landscape of District 25, please contact us at: 303-598-1548 or via e-mail at [email protected].
Community Input and How it Impacts Legal Advocacy
George’s campaign will work with citizens to craft the best legal policies.
When we solicit comments from events, forums and websites, George Mumma’s campaign uses that input to inform his legislative agenda and advocacy efforts. Recent concerns about property tax increases raised at a town hall house party led our campaign to gather input on a draft proposal to ensure tax dollars are spent transparently and efficiently. Parent interest in educational reform continues to influence our campaign’s efforts to expand school choice options and pursue more legal protections for families. We remain committed to ongoing communication with District 25 families, which is how we believe lawmaking should be done and how legal advocacy is not only effective but also truly representative.
