I want to thank each and every one of you who supported me throughout this campaign. Your time, your trust, and your belief in the values we fought for meant more to me than words can express.
While the results didn’t turn out the way we hoped, I’m proud of the campaign we ran—one grounded in integrity, service, and a commitment to keeping our community safe while providing a voice to the people who didn't believe they had one.
I also want to congratulate my opponent on her victory. This is a reflection of the will of the people, and I respect that decision. It is important to hear all voices, even when the outcome isn’t what we expect.
I know that many of you were angered by the lies and deceptive comments made about me. I would say to all of you be strong and move on, that is the nature of today's politics. I encourage the House District 25 Representative to respond and represent all of her constituents, we will be watching what you do and monitoring whether you return our calls and emails.
As a veteran law enforcement officer, I’ve spent my life serving others, whether it was protecting our communities on the streets or defending the children who have no voice. That sense of duty and service won’t stop now. Although I won’t be representing you in the Colorado Legislature, I remain dedicated to doing what I can to make our community safer, stronger, and more united.
I am deeply grateful to my family, my friends, and the many volunteers who worked tirelessly to help get our message out.
This campaign may be over but my commitment to this community is not. I will continue to serve in any way that I can.
